Taky moc děkuju!
These shorts are so helpful, thank you!
To jsem moc ráda!
Im learning the most difficult aspects of my czech. You make it make a lot of senses!! Dekujuuu
To jsem moc ráda, děkuju!
dikuji
Já taky :)
díky za video!
Není zač!
You both seem like very nice people, thank you for the great video with fun spontaneous "revelations" :)
Moc děkujeme :)
I know I sound like an idiot, but the Czech president needs to delete the Czech R with hook, because it's as if the R with hook is doing its absolute best to convince literally everyone, even the natives, not to learn Czech.
Super!
Díky moc, Kate :)
I think I'm quite close already
Ahoj Eliška, I have a random question... the sound quality of your videos are excellent. What microphone do you use? Děkuji, Anthony
Ahoj Anthony, to jsem moc ráda :) I used to use this one www.amazon.com/Rode-Lavalier-Professional-Wearable-Microphone/dp/B07WM65GTF?th=1 and I would edit the sound in Audacity using the noise reduction feature. But then I decided to be less of a perfectionist in my work, so I started filming directly on my iPhone 13 mini without a microphone and sometimes I don't even edit the sound at all. But some of the videos I've posted recently were filmed maybe a year ago with the old setup.

❤🎉 Wow 👌 👏 😍 👍 🥰 Thanks
Taky děkuju :)
@@BecauseCzechIsCool let me have your email or anything.
Спасибо
This is exactly what I needed to see to help make sense of the cases. Thanks a lot!
To jsem moc ráda :)
Ten systém se slovíčky se mi líbí. Děkuji.
To jsem ráda!
Super
Jsem Vlaďka. Jdu ven bez bundy. Dneska jdu k doktorce. Vidím v dálce kamarádku. Volám na ní: "Eliško, počkej! Bavíme se o oslavě mých narozenin. Pozvala jsem Elišku s celou její rodinou.
Skvělé příklady všech sedmi českých pádů :)
Parádní
To cizinci nevysvětlíš. Tohle nechápou ani některé české děti narozené českým rodičům. Téměř v žádném jazyce se takováto tvarosloví nevyskytují. Dvě slova vyslovující se stejně a přesto, každé označuje něco jiného. Ovšem snahu hodnotím 👍
It will be my 1st comment for a channel and I believe you deserve it. You genuinely know what you do. Thanks for all the effort. Also, I want to ask if there is any good language exchange app to talk with Native Czech speakers? Myslím, A partner is a necessity while learning languages :)
Děkuju za milý komentář, moc si toho vážím :) You can try www.hellotalk.com or www.tandem.net for language exchange, or pay a native speaker to speak with on www.italki.com. Also, if you live in the Czech republic, you can google local language exchange events, such as the Regular Sunday language exchange in Prague organized by Speak Easy Praha: facebook.com/speakeasypraha. Good luck!
😇 I appreciate your recommendations. You are so kind🥰@@BecauseCzechIsCool
thank you so much
Taky moc děkuju :)
Thank you
Taky díky!
Just beautiful! You speak so clearly.
Moc děkuju :)
The way of teaching Czech is Fabolous.❤❤
Děkuju :)
easy for polish
Thank you very much !! What about the plural ?
You can look up the plural form here: prirucka.ujc.cas.cz/en/?slovo=pes
❤
Gavin's technique definitely helped me the most. I've already started to recognise certain forms next to certain prepositions when I'm reading so I think it comes naturally to me. Tbh reading tables makes me want to cry so it's way more appealing to read a book or listen to a video and pick out parts gradually. I always found it confusing when I would ask a native and they would start saying stuff like "bez __, v ___" to remember, but I can see how this is the most fluid option when you get used to it.
Ahoj, jakou by jsi mi doporučila knihu k učení angličtiny?
Weird that Czech is a german family name but it sounds like russian. Maybe the language changed during soviet years...
🎉❄️🏔
So helpful!!
To jsem moc ráda :)
In case you didn't know. I grew up close to a traditional Czech community in South Dakota. The name of the town is Tabor and every year they have a Czech festival. I attended many weddings at St Wenceslaus in Tabor and many of my classmates had very Czech names. It is a very small farming community but still clings to Czech traditions.
This videos should be 3 seconds long
Without specifics = examples of word ending / change this is useless
Thanks for this informative video. It could have been better, if there were speakers with different motherlanguages to become familiar with their approach of the czech cases. But yeah, it was helpful.
I was blown away by how much Gavin had managed in just two years. His accent sounded the best to me from the whole bunch, he really has a Czech brain, embracing the fluidity of our language and feeling it more than memorizing it.
amazing explanation love it thanks :)
Glad it helped!
